Website & Email
General School Information can be found on our website including the lunch menu and activity calendar. We are excited to offer a new email list serve this year and welcome you to sign up for emails from our office. We plan on sending electronic versions or links to everything we send home in paper form. This should get the information to our parents quicker than the backpacks.

Now that girls basketball is about to begin please review our policy for students staying after school for the games below. To review the complete policy see your Student Handbook.
Students in grades 5-8 who wait after school for games must have written parental permission and must make arrangements for their supervision with staff members of grades 5-8. Students who do not have parental permission or who have not made supervision arrangements or whose behavior is not in compliance with school rules will be asked to go home.
Students K-4 students are required to go home or be with their parents/guardians.
Come support the 5-6th girls as they play St. Francis (at Central High School) at 5:15 pm on September 10th.
Please turn in your completed paperwork to the school office. The forms to look for are the Yellowstone County Update (pink), Emergency Contact (orange), Network Policy (purple -new students only), & Handbook Signature page (lime). Also look for any form that needs to be signed in addition to those listed above.
For new parents and students, be sure to forward current immunizations and birth certificates to the office. If your student is transferring from another school, the information will be on file and there is no need to bring in additional copies. We will contact you if the information needs to be updated.
Thank you for taking the time to update your child’s files. These forms can be turned in to the student’s teacher or directly to the school office.
Saturday Live 2013: September 28, 2013; Pioneer Park; 9 – 4
Saturday Live is a large fundraiser for Elysian PTO. Erin McCall and Laura Ketterling are organizing this year’s event. We will need many hands to make the event successful for our school. Watch your kid’s folders for more information and volunteer opportunities.
Blue Coupon Books
Each child received one blue coupon book along with a white envelope on last Friday. Once the first coupon book is sold, your child can return the white envelope to the office and request more coupon books.
Elysian PTO receives $10 for each book sold. This money will go a long way to helping with playground equipment for our new school!
If you have any questions about the coupon books, please feel free to call Laurie Hickethier at the school.
If you can, please take a moment each day to vote for Target who is giving away money to the school with the most votes. If you have questions, please call Haley at 672-1443 or at
Win The Ultimate Playground
Make sure to have your kids save their specially marked Danimals and Danonimo lids. We could win the Rally For Recess Ultimate Playground! We will have a special jar in the lunchroom for them to deposit them in after lunch. They will be gathered and entered now through December 31, 2013.
Check out the PTO FaceBook page for links that are not listed here.

Parent Teacher Conferences
Midterm is nearing and we will have our Parent Teacher Conferences on September 25th and 26th. Watch for information coming home soon from your child’s homeroom teacher. As a reminder, we have an early out on the 25th at 12:30 pm.

Meal balance calls will be made to anyone with a negative balance and on Sunday and Thursday evenings.
