From the Principal’s Desk

Welcome to Fall everyone! With the change in weather remember to help students dress appropriately each day. If your child is in need of a coat or hat please let us know, we have received multiple donations of new items and would be pleased to get those in the hands of someone that could get some good use out of them! Lost and found items are displayed in our foyer for the rest of this week, please stop in and look through them. Items not picked up will be donated to a worthy cause.

There are quite a few events happening in October or the start of November, remember to keep up-to-date on our district calendar on our website, ( PIR days on the 18th & 19th will mean a four day weekend for students so plan accordingly. Halloween falls on a Wednesday this year and as in years past we will have a fun dress up day of orange, black and purple. Please do not send your child to school in a costume, that will need to wait until after school!

Parent teacher conferences will be happening the first week of November. Elementary teachers have sign-ups on our website for 15 minute conferences with each student (hover over the parent link to find the conferences link). Middle school teachers will be available in the Commons for conferences, this system has worked well in the past. We hope to see you all there one of those evenings!
